Day 1; Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will be picked up from the airport and transferred to Queen Elizabeth National park in western Uganda. On your way, you will make a stopover at the equator for the equator experience and photography if you please. Proceed to Mbarara town for lunch and continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park arriving late afternoon. Check in at the lodge and embark on an evening game drive after which you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 2; Queen Elizabeth National Park, Transfer to Bwindi

You will go for an early morning game drive to catch up with the early risers and possibly encounter the cats as they retire from the hunt. Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out and go for a special boat cruise along the Kazinga channel inside Queen Elizabeth Park where you will come up close with hippos and crocodiles among other aquatic life and an array of birds on the bay!
After the cruise, you will proceed with your journey to Bwindi driving through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park which is famous for tree climbing lions and could be lucky to see some. Continue to Bwindi with lunch en-route arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Silverback Lodge.

Day 3; Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Have an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guides before embarking on your gorilla trek. Head into the forest and trek until you find the gorillas. Gorilla trekking can take 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. After finding the gorillas in Bwindi, you will be allowed only 1 hour and then return. Your driver / guide will drive you back to your hotel to relax and spend another night at Silverback Lodge as above.
Note: While the Adults go for Gorilla trekking, the child will be taken for a guided nature walk around the forest by the guide.

Day 4; Transfer Back to Kampala

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and transfer back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch, arriving Kampala in the evening. Drop off at the Airport for your onward flight.
