This 2-day White Water Rafting and Jinja Tour Uganda Safari tour will take you to Jinja city in eastern part of Uganda about 85km from the capital city Kampala for the breathtaking whitewater rafting on the River Nile the Africa’s longest river and second longest in the world. Whitewater rafting is one of the magical adventurous activities that can make you learn how to handle pressure and remain calm under pressure. The rapids in Jinja / River Nile are well graded 3 to 5 which is offering the best white-water rafting experiences in Africa. Day 1; Kampala city/ Entebbe airport – Transfer to Jinja city – Visit to the source of the River Nile

Our company representative who will be your driver guide will meet you at your hotel, airport or any other place for a short briefing about your safari and depart for Jinja city. On your way to Jinja city, you will not be bored since you will have several stops to encounter other interesting things such as Sezibwa Falls to explore the said to be spiritual falls and very important to the culture and ritual of the Buganda and it is believed that these falls were born by a woman as your local site guide will narrate to you, have another to at Mabira rainforest reserve for a simple nature walk. This is forest is the biggest rain forest in the whole of central Uganda which is a home to several wildlife species such as reptiles, many insects, different bird species and some primates such as Olive baboons, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys and many others. Later continue with your drive through sugarcane and tea plantation alongside the road and then reach Jinja city. On your arrival at Jinja city, go to check in at your reserved hotel, have lunch, relax and later take a boat ride to explore the source of the River Nile and then Samuka Island which is most famous as the breeding ground for several species of birds that leaving around Lake Victoria. Afterwards drive back to your reserved hotel for dinner and an overnight.

Day 2; Jinja city – White water rafting – Return to Entebbe airport or Kampala

After having your heavy morning breakfast, leave your hotel and drive to the meeting point for briefings about how the activity is conducted, safety tips and then go the starting to make you familiarized and later start your day adventure. River Nile provides the best spot for whitewater rafting in Africa because of its best graded five water rapids with spectacular leaps and drops that will make you have an unforgettable adventurous moment. For your safety, everyone will be given a strong helmet and life jacket to protect you in case of any emergency. After your full day whitewater rafting, embark on your return drive to Kampala city / Entebbe international airport or any other place of your choice.
