5 Days Uganda Fishing Safari to Murchison Falls National Park

This 5 days Uganda fishing safari will give you an exceptional sport fishing experience in Uganda while fishing in Murchison falls national park where you will be fishing at the time seeing different wildlife species of the park such as huge Elephants, caped buffaloes, Uganda Kobs among others that will make your fishing safari so adventurous. Murchison falls National Park is one of the best places to go to for sport fishing and you will stand higher chances to catch the biggest Nile Perch, Catfish, Lungfish and Tilapia on the Victoria Nile while on fish boat or fishing from the shores of the river.

 

Day 1; Pick from Entebbe airport / Kampala city – Transfer-Murchison Falls national park – Evening to the top of the falls

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport / after your early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will meet the driver guide from Africa Adventure Vacations who will warmly receive you to be briefed about your 5 Days Uganda Fishing Safari to Murchison Falls National Park and start your drive to Murchison Falls National Park with an en-stop at Misindi town get refreshments, have lunch then continue with your drive to the park. Later, visit the Murchison falls with a hike to the top of the falls to see how the calm River Nile become crazy while looking for its way through the narrow gorge of about 7 meters wide and falling deep over 43 meters which transforms into a thunderous roar and what to be the world’s strongest falls. Then drive to check in at your reserved lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 2; Murchison falls national park – Full day fishing using a boat

After having your early morning breakfast and then go for your fully day fishing on the Victoria Nile River using a fishing boat with your English-speaking local fishing guide. During your whole day fishing, you may be able to catch the biggest Nile perch, cat fish. Have a short break to have refreshments, lunch and then continue with your day activity until evening. During fishing, you many encounter other aquatic animals such as the hippopotamuses, huge Nile crocodile and other park mammals when they have come to drink water such as Elephants, Warthogs, Waterbucks and many others plus many bird species. Dinner and an overnight.

Day 3; Murchison falls national park – Full day fishing from the shores and from the boat

Rise up early in the morning to have breakfast, then go to the bottom of the falls, spend half of the day fishing at the shores of the River and you have higher chances to catch the big Nile perch or any of the other species in the River. After fishing from the shores, have refreshments, lunch and then go fishing on the fishing boat and the main focusing will be to spot the biggest fish. Dinner and an overnight.

Day 4; Murchison falls national park – full day fishing from the shores of the River

After having fantastic breakfast, leave the lodge and then your driver take you to descend to the bottom of the falls to spend the whole day fishing from the bottom of the falls with the help from your local fishing guide. You will have a short break to have refreshments, lunch and continue with your day activity until evening then return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 5; Murchison falls National Park – Early morning game driver – Drive back to Entebbe international airport or Kampala

After having breakfast with all your belongs already in the vehicle, check out and then go for your early morning game drive to search for the wildlife in this park such as Elephants, Caped buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, Warthogs, Rothschild giraffes, Lions, Jackson hartebeest, Waterbuck, stopped hyenas, Oribis and many others including bird species. Murchison falls is a home to over 76 mammal species such as four of the five members of the “big five family” Many different antelope species, big predators of the Jungle and different primates. The park has about 451 recorded bird species which can been seen during game drives, boat launch trip, nature walk and chimpanzee trekking. After your game drive, go to Masindi town to have lunch and then go to Entebbe international airport to end your 5 Days Uganda Fishing Safari to Murchison Falls National Park or Kampala city for an overnight
